We are looking for an apprentice accountant to join our growing team. 

We are committed to nurturing, supporting and investing in our team and have an established track record of recruiting apprentices and training them all the way through to professional qualifications.

We are a registered training office for AAT, ATT, ICAEW, ACCA and CIOT professional qualifications 

Our current team includes four professionally qualified chartered accountants and one chartered tax advisor, who all joined us straight from school or college.

Apprentice Accountant

We have an exciting opportunity to develop a career as an accountant and business advisor.

The successful candidate will receive comprehensive in-house training including one day a week ‘day release’ at college studying for an AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) qualification (Level 2-4), with potential to ultimately qualify as a Chartered Accountant with the ICAEW.

Job Role
  • Assisting in our outsourcing department and becoming an expert in the latest cloud-based software tools
  • Assisting with the preparation of management accounts and information
  • Assisting with the preparation of year end statutory accounts
  • Assisting with the preparation of management information
  • Assistance with business support

We are looking for somebody with good mathematical, IT and organisational skills who is confident and quick to learn with an eye for detail.

Minimal Qualifications: GCSE grade B/6 in maths and English language and maths at A-level

Hours: 37 h per week (including one day at college)
